One of the details that I was considered was the purchase of a guest book, I decided that I did not want to use a traditional guest book that our guests would all sign, and I would eventually pack away and never look at again. My younger sister used one at here wedding several years ago and it made such a creative keepsake for them that I decided to duplicate and personalize the idea.

Once our wedding party was selected, we had to figure out what the wedding party dress code would be for the wedding ceremony. My own dress was not incredibly formal and Robert was planning to wear a simple attire of Khaki dress pants, long sleeve button up white shirt and tie. We knew that in the muggy Missouri heat of July anything more than that outside would make him uncomfortable and hot.
