Finding The Perfect Wedding Bands

Our wedding bands Neither Brian nor myself are into flashy jewelry, and we weren’t interested in spending a ton of money on wedding bands.

Our budget wouldn’t really allow us to have to make payments on any jewelry, so we started seeking inexpensive but quality options.

We found wonderful wedding bands at an unusual source. At JCPenney’s website, I saw that we could each get wedding bands at a reasonable price.

I got a beautiful white gold band with three small diamonds on it, and Brian got a tungsten comfort fit band. Since he works on cars for a living, it was important that he have a band that can not be scratched, scuffed, or damaged in any way.

Tungsten is one of the most durable metals, and in some cases is more expensive than gold rings. A tungsten comfort fit band can cost several hundred dollars at a high-end jeweler. A friend of mine even told me that she wanted to purchase one for her husband, but could not afford the ring at a jeweler.

At JCPenney, the same ring was one hundred dollars. My ring was only seventy-five. We ordered the rings online since we already knew our sizes, and then kept them in a safe place until the wedding.

When comparing our finds with other married couples, they seemed a little jealous of the money we saved on rings - especially rings that were of excellent quality! The rings are still in beautiful condition, and I will never again look into buying expensive pieces from a jeweler again.

“When it comes to wedding bands, jewelers often charge a lot of money for their high-end name and store. But I’m living proof that you don’t have to pay a lot of money for a lot of pretty jewelry!”
